Respect. Admire. Appreciate.

As I handed one of my business cards to my tow truck driver, I thought, well I guess, as a recruiter, it is my job to make connections after all.
But then I mentally corrected myself.
It is my job to find people WORK.
It is LIFE’S PURPOSE to make connections.
It’s life’s purpose to empathize and understand and show you care.
It is life’s purpose to connect with other souls on a personal level; to be vulnerable, to be true, to give hope.
And it is life’s PURPOSE, to love, and learn, and support.
When making connections, don’t think about the “what can I get from this?” Think about the, “how can I do my best to be a good person to you,” the, “what can we learn from each other,” and most importantly, the, “how can I make you a better person.”
Respect. Admire. Appreciate.
That is life’s purpose.
