I don’t know what’s in store for my future. I really don’t. South Side was wonderful as always, and thank you to Kealey and Katie for inviting me, because I needed that boost of dance energy so much. My friends made it home safely tonight, and that’s all I care about as of right now.
But that yellow umbrella. Where is that yellow umbrella. I have reason to believe I found that umbrella already, and I love the owner of that umbrella with my whole heart. But will he bother coming back for it? That’s the question. But only time will tell.
So many parts of the machine of your life working together to put you exactly in the right place at the right time, and that moment those pairs of eyes meet may just be all that you need to feel okay again, at least for that night.
Everything, EVERYTHING, happens for a reason. And you’ve got to believe that because what would be the purpose in life if we weren’t to gather and learn from the bad things, oh, that’s why this happened.
It may not always be instant that you find out why. But it will happen in time.
Those moments, those moments the eyes meet, those moments your heart skips a beat. Those moments you find out why you were stalled an extra twenty minutes on the freeway, those moments when you find out why you have to go through the things in life that you do. It’s just all part of the machine.
And savor them, because those moments are everything.
