This is a blurry picture I took catching them in action.
I always buy two of these fish at a time. For obvious reasons. And no matter how long they live in my tank before they die… 3 months, 6, a year or two, when one does die, they other does within two weeks, usually less. It’s just so sad but happy and beautiful but heartbreaking.
And they say animals don’t have emotions and only run on instinct. I don’t think it’s instinct to die, ever.
The heartbreak is real.
