“I Miss You.”

I wrote a rap verse to this (starts at 2:10) for my friend.

Her dad just passed away.

And I’m not showing her this just yet.

I just needed to get my feelings down on paper and in song.

I am sad.

Waking up this morning, thought it all was a nightmare. The fact that I was with you last week, and you were right there, telling me that things would be fine, just say the Lord’s prayer, cause after all it’s up to his will, so don’t despair. All my life you stood by my side, you were my hero, my rock, my soul, my life, now the world, I’ll show just how strong you made me, through how brave you are, even though my heart now has a permanent scar. Hey listen little cowgirl, please don’t cry, the lessons that we learn in life are showing all the time. And it was time, for the Good Lord to call me to come on home, but I hope you know that I am there, you’ll never be alone. Daddy knows you’re tearin apart, but on the bright side, my pain is gone, as time moves on, I know that you will cry. But now I’m with the angels, so believe me that I’m fine. You are my little angel, and I’m glad to call you mine.
