I just want to take a minute to rant about night driving and what I’m seeing right now.
I was on my way home from Michigan today from Warped Tour. And as sad as it is, I spent all 100 dollars I brought, so I had no cash on me for the tolls to take the turnpike.
And boy am I glad I didn’t.
If you ever get the chance, take highway 2 on the northern border of Ohio. I don’t really know how it is in the daytime, but at night, it is the most beautiful, unbending, back country-ish type road you will ever drive on. At first, I thought it would be terrible because I saw that it was only one lane. But from the very beginning, it reminded me of a road I drive on to get to Ocean City. And it keeps bringing on the memory of that road, even just thirty miles into it. It’s so peaceful being this close to the ocean the whole way home.
So here I am on the side of the road because I kept catching myself look out into the water, so for a fear of wrecking due to beauty, I pulled over to the side, sat here on the rocks, and this photo is the result.
Yeah, you really find beauty where you least expect it.
